Valeo Networks partners with Florida Institute of Technology

Valeo Networks (Valeo Networks) is proud to announce our new Crimson partnership with the Florida Institute of Technology (FIT).  FIT was founded in 1958 to provide advanced education for professionals working in the space program at Kennedy Space Center.  FIT’s mission is to provide high-quality education to a culturally diverse student body in order to prepare students for entering the global workforce, seeking higher-education opportunities, and serving within their communities.

When Valeo Networks decided to open a regional office in Florida, its President/CEO, Mr. Travis Mack, selected Brevard County to expand its business and find avenues to support the Space Coast.  Florida’s Space Coast is the birthplace of space exploration and the home of Kennedy Space Center.   Steps as bold as putting a man on the moon or developing a space transportation system known as the Space Shuttle require exceptional talent.  To say the Brevard workforce is “highly skilled” is really an understatement.  Intelligent, intensely precise, driven, determined, innovative, remarkable̶̶ ̶̶  ̶   these are just a few of the adjectives that describe scientists, engineers, technicians and administrators who understand and truly believe that failure is not an option.  Our President/CEO Mr. Travis Mack is excited of this partnership with the FIT. “Valeo Networks is a growing Technology Company in the Space Coast area, and to have the opportunity to partner with an outstanding technology focused educational institution like FIT is a perfect match for both organizations, we are thrilled to enter such an important relationship and have access to some of the brightest minds in the area.”

Being a Crimson partner provides Valeo Networks the ability to work with these soon to be graduates of FIT.   FIT’s Career Management services provide career and job search services to FIT and alumni.  Their mission is to help students in the development of career plans and job search skills.  Career Management Services acts as a liaison among Florida Tech students, faculty, staff and employers. Valeo Networks is looking forward to having FIT students fulfill their intern requirements at our Rockledge Florida corporate office.  Along with providing job training, our Valeo Networks team will be working with students on refining their resume and interviewing skills.
