The Department of Defense has finalized the DFARS rule: CMMC compliance becomes mandatory on November 10, 2025. We are now 60 days away, so if your organization handles Federal Contract Information (FCI) or Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI), you must have a current CMMC status logged in the Supplier Performance Risk System (SPRS) or you won’t be eligible for DoD contracts.
What Happens If You Miss the Deadline?
This isn’t a soft rollout. After November 2025, CMMC applies to all contracts involving FCI or CUI.
The clock is ticking—and the consequences are real.
If you’re planning to meet the CMMC deadline, make sure you’re working with a Certified CMMC Registered Practitioner Organization (RPO).
Valeo Networks is a Certified CMMC Registered Practitioner Organization (RPO), which is a significant differentiator. Any company offering CMMC compliance services should be able to show proof of this certification at minimum. If they don’t, you should be cautious working with uncertified providers as they may put your eligibility and contracts at risk.
